Rocklin Can't Afford Peter Hill!

The Tax Man Cometh

Rocklin taxpayers must tell Peter Hill that they have had enough of his incompetence.  Under his failed leadership, Rocklin has seen it's maintenance costs skyrocket, it's sales tax base dwindle, it's commercial vacancy rate soar, it's school board become a laughing stock, and it's community become divided over Clover Valley.  Send Peter Hill packing on election day!

A Big Fake

Vacant

DeniedRocklin is the home of some of the state's best granite.  Yet, the incompetent Peter Hill saw fit to spend over $1M of taxpayer money for fake rocks to decorate a highway intersection.  Then, he declares an emergency and tries to push through a transportation tax.  Shouldn't the money have been spent on the transportation emergency instead of fake rocks?
EmptyWithout any plan or vision for the future, Peter Hill became drunk on developer fees.  The result is a vast sea of vacant commercial and office space in Rocklin.  Under the deranged leadership of Peter Hill, the Rocklin City Council attempted to pave every square inch of Rocklin without regard for what the residents wanted.  Peter Hill has forgotten what it means to be a servant of the people.

Uncontrolled Spending

Alarming Taxation

DeniedThe Placer County Republican Central Committee reviewed Peter Hill's record of pushing tax increases (e.g., transportation tax, occupancy tax, park tax, alarm tax, etc.) and spending taxpayer funds like a drunken sailor and denied him an endorsement.
DeniedDesperate to make up for his incompetence, Peter Hill led the way in raising taxes through the sneaky alarm permit (a.k.a. alarm tax).  As of October 1, 2008, all Rocklin residents with an alarm must pay yearly taxes just to have the alarm and more taxes every time the alarm is used.  What next Peter, air breathing taxes?
